Margaretenstraße

Near one of Vienna’s most important inner-city junctions, a Wilhelminian style building has been expanded with a three-story new structure, adding four new apartments. The converging lines of the cityscape, meeting at the intersection of Operngasse and Margaretenstraße, inspired the creation of a sculptural form that sets itself apart from a conventional standard solution. This approach not only introduced a high level of openness but also incorporated spacious terrace areas with spectacular views. The penthouse conversion thus enhances the entire building and blends harmoniously with its surroundings.
